“The monsoon of North Bengal is very important for the theme and the script. So, august should be the best time for the shoot. However, it is still not sure and we will take a final decision in a few weeks,” he added.

The story revolves around a girl Apala, who belongs to a culturally rich traditional family of North Kolkata. In her childhood, her granny had told her that her embroidered blanket had magical powers.

The actor-director is also busy with the shoot of two serials. The actor said that after working in Desher Mati and Mohor, he hardly has any time to work on his other projects. “Due to the present condition, I am not being able to start shooting. While everything is ready there are some constraints due to the pandemic,” he said.
