Tapas Pal plays Kakababu too!

Thought it was just Bomkesh vs Bomkesh, this March? Think again. Even Kakababu has competition. Apart from Srijit Mukherji, there���s yet another director, who is set to adapt an adventure of the legendary sleuth on celluloid. Far from the madding crowd in Kolkata, director Anjan Banerjee has started shooting a Kakababu saga ��� Paharchuray Aatonko ��� in Sikkim.Playing the detective is Tapas Paul.
���We have already started shooting for the film. We are trying to stick to Sunil Ganguly���s novel as far as possible,��� said Tapas. Isn���t the actor worried about comparisons with Prosenjit? ���There is no fun without healthy competition. Comparisons, good or bad, help an actor perform better. I am sure Bumba (Prosenjit) will do a stupendous job as Kakababu. And let the audience decide how I am as the sleuth,��� smiled the actor.
