Tanusree Shankar is in Mumbai spending time with her daughter
Sreenanda Shankar. “I was supposed to come here to be with my daughter in January but couldn’t because of the third wave. With the situation a little better now, I took the chance to travel to Mumbai. I will be celebrating
Holi with my daughter and son-in-law. My birthday is on March 16 and my daughter wants to celebrate it in a gala way as she couldn’t do so for the past two years because of the pandemic. I will be 67 this year and Sreenanda is planning a party,” said Tanusree. She added, “On Sunday, we had a get-together at my sister’s house. It is so nice to connect with everyone after long. The pandemic taught us the importance of family. Basically, I am chilling out in Mumbai and gorging on food 24x7. Sreenanda has become a great cook. From pasta to Bengali food — she can cook anything now. I think I will pile on a few kilos.”
Sreenanda, who is having a great time with her mother, said, “I was looking forward to meeting ma. Finally, she is here. Though I am auditioning for a few films and web series, dance is my priority now. With ma around, I am getting a chance to practise dance again.”
