Takhon Teish is a story of a junior doctor

After winning a lot of accolades for Angshumaner Chhobi, film-maker Atanu Ghosh is all set to direct his next feature film. Titled Takhon Teish, Ghosh���������s film is a fast-paced psychological thriller starring Indrani Halder, Tanusree Shankar, Paoli, Aparajita Ghosh Das, Biplab Chatterjee, Nil Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta and Jisshu Sengupta.
TT is a story of a sensitive 23-year-old junior doctor, Tamodeep (Jisshu Sengupta), whose life changes drastically in just 48 hours.That���������s when he is destined to come face-to-face with four women ��������� Sraboni (Tanusree Shankar), Meghna (Indrani Halder), Sriparna (Aparajita Ghosh Das) and Mohini (Paoli). All these four characters represent affection, infatuation, lust, friendship and love. As the film unfolds, it shows the gradual transformation of a sensitive 23-year-old to a 27-year-old man. ���������This fast-paced psychological thriller moves through suspense, crime, sex and emotion. It is targeted at today���������s youth, overdosed on Internet and gadgets. The film depicts their jet-speed journey through life and relationships,��������� informs Ghosh, who has also written the story and the screenplay.
Says actor Indrani from Mumbai, where she is currently busy shooting a Hindi television production, ���������In Atanu���������s film, I play an attractive biology teacher, who is also an agony aunt at a radio station. Though she is older than Tamodeep, he develops an attraction for her. But the day she comes to know about her student���������s interest, she stops conversing with him for six years. While the boy continues to message her, she never replies. Such events can happen to any one of us. I���������ve heard many such instances from my friends who are teachers. However, they don���������t talk about such incidents in public. It takes guts to deal with such a subject since this could draw a lot of criticism.���������
Aparajita Ghosh Das, who plays a girl whom Tamodeep meets on a social networking site, is looking forward to the project. ���������My character is that of a whimsical girl who is also very confident. She seems to be an ideal match for Tamodeep. As far as I know, TT is one of Atanuda���������s dream projects. He started scripting this film much before AC. TT is very different from formula films and I am definitely looking forward to such a challenging project,��������� she says.
Paoli, who plays a patient, believes that her role is very difficult to essay. ���������The girl goes through a mix of emotions. I am working on my looks and body language. Atanuda has also asked me to watch some movies to help me get a grip of my character,��������� Paoli says.
And at the centre of the whole action is Jisshu. The actor, though, hasn���������t yet watched AC. ���������But I���������ve heard a lot about the film and will soon watch it. As for TT, the script is lovely. Initially, I did have some date problems. But thankfully, they���������ve been sorted out,��������� Jisshu says.
Shooting for the film begins on Poila Baishakh.
