From work and fitness to beauty and makeup,
Ena Saha is trying hard to come up trumps in all fronts of life.
FITNESS FUNDA: I am a very lazy person by nature, but of late, I am working out, and trust me, I am loving it! Now it has become a habit. Cross-training and swimming are a must for me as these help me tone up. I have joined a contemporary dance class too, as dancing is the best form of exercise.
I am a foodie, so dieting is out of question. I have my food at regular intervals but in small portions. I try to avoid fried stuff and sweets. Having green tea and apple cider vinegar is a must for me as that helps burn fat.
To me, fashion is all about comfort and I don’t follow trends. What looks good on someone else might not suit me at all. I love to wear kurtis and distressed denims on a regular day. But given a choice, I would love to wear a sari every day. A woman looks desirable and elegant in a sari — there is a mystery in those nine yards. My wardrobe is full of cotton saris and dhakai jamdani. That apart, I keep buying different kinds of shrugs as I feel they add dimension to a simple dress. I have a fetish for sunglasses and shoes. I have lost count of how many pairs of shoes I have!
I am very conscious about my skin, but I don’t take care of my hair at all. I oil my hair once a week and shampoo on alternate days. That’s it! Every day, I apply a homemade pack of curd and honey to take care of my skin. I love makeup but I make it a point to apply vitamin E oil before and after it without fail as it protects the skin. I adore matte-finish lipsticks in shades of pink and peach. But when I do nude eyes, I apply a dark shade on my lips. Mascara is something I can’t do without.
I got a lot of applause for my role in Rajkahini. I have completed shooting for Chegu, which is the first film from
Pavel’s production house. It is being directed by Nabomita, who has a theatre background. The film is about a 14-year-old boy’s obsession with a young lady played by me. That apart, I am shooting for Hacker opposite Aryann Bhowmick. This film is a love story which deals with hacking. It is a huge concern in today’s life. I get a lot of offers for the small screen but right now I want to concentrate on films.
