The film made with a shoe-string budget received appreciation from all around since its March 29 release despite not getting too many shows in Kolkata theatres. And now ‘Kia And Cosmos’ is all set for its UAE premier today, May 9.
Swastike who kept promoting the film on social media with tweets almost every day shared the good news with her fans on Twitter. The versatile actress plays a single mother Dia and Ritwika plays her daughter in the film.
She posted:
‘Kia And Cosmos’ received a lot of support lately before its release with social media initiatives such as #KiasPiggyBank and fund-raising events like #JourneyGreaterThanDestination that witnessed Kolkata’s independent artists joining hands. The film also pays its tribute to the iconic literary detectives Feluda and Byomkesh Bakshy, making Kia India’s first girl-detective.
