Susmita Chatterjee to star opposite Soham in ‘Paka Dekha’

Ever since she made her debut in Anindya Chattopadhyay’s ‘Prem Tame’ Susmita Chatterjee has become the dark horse of Tollywood. The talented actress recently finished the shoot of ‘Jai Kali Kolkattawali’ and now she is set to pair up with Soham Chakraborty in Premendu Bikash Chaki’s upcoming rom-com ‘Paka Dekha’. Apart from the lead pair of Soham and Susmita the film will also have Kharaj Mukherjee, Laboni Sarkar, Sumanta Mukhopadhyay, Dolon Roy and others in key roles.Another attraction is the big-screen return of veteran actor Dipankar Dey after a long gap.

The story revolves around Joy and Tiyasha who meet in office para. Joy who works in a bank leads a routine life like a machine while Tiyasha works in the IT sector and her life is completely messed up because of the excessive pressure she has to handle each day in office. Tiyasha’s family likes Joy and wants their daughter to marry him. So it leads to paka dekha.

Stress, long working hours and hectic schedules have made the lives of our youth a little disoriented. The young generation suffers from insecurity in relationship. Young couples often fear of losing each other if they get married. This film is also the story of that insecure individual we all hide in ourselves. Premendu’s film tries to address all these issues but with a touch of humour. Overall, ‘Paka Dekha’ is a sweet love story.
