Reality shows are spawning on television by the day. But is there anything beyond those 15 minutes of fame? In tune with this thought, Surajit, music composer and vocalist of Bhoomi, has auditioned reality show contestants, giving a few the much-desired break on the big screen for the Jeet-Priyanka starrer "Hello Memsaheb".
The film, directed by Shiboprasad Mukhopadhyay and Nandita Roy, is an out-and-out commercial venture.

"It's a comedy and the only known singer to have lent his voice is Shaan. He has sung a slow track called "Tomar ashaye". The rest are all foot-tapping numbers sung by reality show participants.
I had a word with the directors and we had decided to audition young talents as often, once the show is over, they go unnoticed. We have Aritra, Sumana, among many others, singing for us in the film," says Surajit. The latter is happy with the way the film's music has shaped up and is hopeful of working with more newcomers in the future. Quite a novel thought, this. But are others going to take a cue?
