’s poem, the film will be screened as part of the Non-competition Section - Short and Documentary Panorama in the festival. Home features Sohag Sen, Sohini sarkar, Sauraseni Maitra, Sudipa Basu and several others.


Talking about the film, Sujoy said, “I read the poem many years ago but it stayed with me. I always thought I would like to work with the idea. I kept on thinking and talking to people about the idea of ‘home’. For some, it is refuge, for some others, it is probably roots. The fragments of ideas brought in a coherent connection. That’s how the concept developed and here I am with my first ever directorial work. I am really glad that the biggest film festival in my city has selected my work.”
