Sudiptaa Chakraborty is upset. Here's why...

After Koel Mallick, Raj Chakraborty, Soham, and Aparijita Auddhy, actress Sudiptaa Chakraborty tested COVID positive recently. She posted on social media: “Life is full of surprises!! I've been tested COVID-19 positive.Friends...Don't panic please. I'm doing okay.No fever, no body ache, no breathing issues so far, only a mild nose block with no feeling of taste and smell.That's it.My husband and daughter are doing absolutely fine and they've been asked to get tested a few days later.I'm in complete room isolation for last 4 days and on medication as per the doctor's advice.I'll be fine soon, I'm sure.Take care all of you.. stay safe!” (sic)
When CT contacted the actress. she said, “I am not upset because I tested COVID positive, but today is my daughter’s (Shahida Neera) birthday and we couldn’t celebrate her fifth birthday. And that’s bothering me a lot. She doesn’t even know that today is her birthday or else she would be sad. We thought of celebrating it at home with her cousins and friends, but the situation is such that I can’t even wish her, forget celebrations. I am physically fit but the mental stress is killing me. I couldn’t even pay my last respect to Soumitra jethu (Soumitra Chatterjee) as I am in home isolation. Prosenjit Bardhan, one of the finest actors from the theatre, passed away too. I couldn’t be there either! I wish we could sail through these trying times soon.”
