Uronchondi
’ and the road movie is enjoying a great response from the audience and critics alike since its release last week.
While speaking about Abhishek’s directorial debut, the versatile
actress
said she is so happy to see her husband’s first film receiving such a warm welcome from the viewers. She also revealed how Abhishek handled the team even in crisis situations.
“I have seen the labour Abhishek put in to make this film happen. Be it the three-four sentences of dialogue or an entire script, the journey has been purgative for him and as he often worked from home, I got the chance to see this continuous process of writing, rewriting, and reworking till ‘Uronchondi’ got its final shape. It was amazing seeing Abhishek as a filmmaker. Despite all the troubles in a road film, he was cool as a cucumber throughout. He used to handle crisis situations smoothly without losing his temper. I didn’t see him overwhelmed to see there were two more debutants in the film with powerpact roles. I will give him full marks for holding on to his nerve even in the most tensed situations,” Sudiptaa said.
