Sudiptaa Chakraborty all set for Pupa's release

Indrasis Acharya’s next, Pupa, is all set to hit theatres this week, and lead actress Sudiptaa Chakraborty is gearing up for this release. While talking about the film, Sudiptaa said, “I liked it when I first heard the script,” and she took little time to agree to work with yet another new director. “I worked in the first films of Kamaleshwarda (Mukherjee), Anindya (Chattopadhyay) and many others.I have noticed something very interesting. While debutant directors sometimes lack the shooting experience, they have that zeal to prove themselves in each and every shot they take. I really like that. Seasoned directors often become reluctant to take risks,” the actress said.
Sudiptaa also liked Indrasis’ interpretation of the story in Pupa. “I was surprised to see the way he perceived the storyline. Bajar dhorar protijogitay o monon dhorte cheyeche. That is so refreshing. I really enjoyed his honesty in making the film,” she signed off.
Besides Sudiptaa, the film will also feature Rahul Banerjee and Kamaleshwar Mukherjee.
