Sudipta Banerjee hopes to make an impression in Nojor

Actress Sudipta Banerjee is the latest entrant to this serial. “Nojor unfolds the tale of a witch’s dark energies, which are said to haunt the Roy family for generations and negatively affects their lives. I play Dwikaien, who is the sister of Maya (Sampurna Lahiri) and Debasree (Antara). Dwikaien is not an easy character since, at times, she is positive and at other times she reacts negatively. Dwikaien has two heads and is an interesting character. But, she also wants to kill Maya. The look of Dwikaien is gorgeous. The character made an entry on Wednesday and I am sure she will have an impact on the audience,” said the actress.

The actress, who will start Puja shopping from Sunday, said, “I need at least 10 dresses during Puja. That's because I have to wear new clothes in the morning and evening from Shasthi to Dashami. This year, I have already got a few designer blouses and now I have to buy saris to match them. I also plan to go outside Kolkata this year to experience Durga Puja in a village as it has a different flavour altogether.”
