Written and directed by Rashid, the film also stars Rajpal Yadav and Omkarnath Manikpuri (Natha of Peepli [Live] fame), among others. Likely to be titled Bumper Draw or Sabse Bada Rupaiyya, the film revolves around a robbery. In the film, Subrats girlfriend (to be played by Rituparna) runs away with all his money. In order to recover the same, he embarks on a journey and bumps into people of all kinds. Subrat, who has dabbled with intense roles so far, has begun shooting for the film. This is the first time that Im being offered a comic role. And trust me, Im having a blast.
Rituparna, who was all set to begin shooting on July 14, is yet to face the camera. Says the actor, My schedule begins in August. The character I play in the film is shrouded in mystery. At times, shes visible, on other occasions, shes invisible. About working with Subrat, Rituparna says, Ive worked with Subrat. Hes doing some very different roles. Hes hardworking and Im looking forward to this pairing. Another highpoint in the film is the presence of Rajpal. I share a nice association with him since my Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh days. Revisiting old times, folks?
