,

Rabi Ghosh

and Bhanu Bandyopadhyay and Jahar Roy. Like all his co-actors,

“I was shocked to hear the news. On Sunday night Bijoy called me. He was with Chinu Kaka when he breathed his last. He was his long-time associate. I had called Chinu Kaka’s son Tony as well,” said the seasoned actor.

He is also forever in debt to Chinmoy Roy for giving him Tenida’s role in the 2011 film based on

Narayan Gangopadhyay

Tenida

.”

Subhasish always kept in touch with the veteran actor. He even used to visit Chinmoy Roy at his Golf Green residence or talk to him over the phone.
