Subhashree did workshops with Sohini Sengupta for ‘Parineeta’

Playing a multi-layered character is not a cakewalk and Subhashree Ganguly felt it right away as soon as she started prepping for ‘Parineeta’, the first film post marriage, that too under the direction of husband Raj Chakraborty.
Subahsree will be seen playing the character of Mehul opposite Ritwick Chakraborty and the romantic thriller, as said by Raj, has explored a different side of Subhashree.So, how the preparation started? Were there any workshop? The pretty actress reveals she used to see a lot of plays.
“I was looking forward to a different kind of film. Finally ‘Parineeta’ came and the journey has become so special to me. I play a layer character Mehul here and to prepare for this character I even did a number of workshops with Sohini Sengupta. I used to see a lot of plays, even attended Nandikar’s rehearsals and observe how things are done there. I tried to understand the basics. That’s how preparation for ‘Parineeta’ began. To slip into the character you have feel it and I really enjoyed the process, said an excited Subhashree.
‘Parineeta’, bankrolled by Raj Chakraborty’s home production, is expected to release in August.
