Srijit’s reply to wife Mithila’s Father’s Day post wins hearts

When noted filmmaker Srijit Mukherji’s Bangladeshi wife actress, singer, and social worker Rafiath Rashid Mithila uploaded a collage of photographs of their daughter Ayra with the ‘Gumnaami’ director, Srijit thanked her and also wished Bangladeshi singer Tahsan Rahman Khan on the joyous occasion of Father’s Day.
Incidentally, Mithila was married to Tahsan earlier. This heart-touching gesture from Srijit instantly floored his fans and he was flooded with messages.“Thank you Ayrur Ammu!Also a very Happy Father’s Day to Tahsan, thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing our angel into this world!,” Srijit had tweeted.

Srijit married Mithila in December last year in a simple ceremony at his south Kolkata flat in presence of a small group of friends from the Bengali industry including Rudraneel Ghosh, Jisshu Sengupta, and poet Srijato.
On Sunday, celebrating the Father’s Day, just like Srijit many Tollywood celebrities took to their social media handle to express their love for their father while sharing some candid pictures. Some even uploaded photos of their kids and revealed how lucky they are to have them in their lives.
