Srijit Mukherji has already wrapped up the shoot of ‘
Vinci Da
’, his third attempt in the genre of thriller after ‘Baishe Srabon’ and ‘Chatushkone’. The upcoming thriller revolves around a make-up artist and a serial killer. While
Ritwick Chakraborty and
Rudranil Ghosh will play the lead,
Anirban Bhattacharya will be seen as a police officer.
Sohini Sarkar too is playing an interesting character and young actor
Riddhi Sen has a small appearance in ‘Vinci Da’ as well.
Srijit himself is really excited about the project as his two earlier thrillers received love all around. The ‘Shah Jahan Regency’ director recently took to his Twitter handle to share an interesting update about the film and he didn’t forget to tease the fans with some spoilers! Srijit wrote: “Finished the final cut of Vincida, supertight at 110 minutes. Expect some real bloodbath between Rudranil Ghosh Rudy and Ritwick Chakraborty with fireworks from Anirban Bhattacharya and Sohini Sarkar.”
Beside ‘Vinci Da’, he has another interesting project in the pipeline. Titled ‘Gumnami’, it’s another thriller revolving around a mysterious sadhu who was often rumoured to be Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose himself in disguise.
