Mukherji, 44, took to Twitter and shared a message thanking his fans for their wishes.

''I have finally tested negative for Covid. Thank you all for the get-well-soons, worried queries and even the random death wishes (will recommend voodoo dolls next,'' the Kakababur Protyaborton director wrote.

Srijit Mukherji had announced his coronavirus diagnosis on January 1, writing that he tested positive and isolated himself. ''I have tested positive for Covid and am isolating myself. For everyone who has come in contact with me in the last 72 hrs, please test yourself,'' he wrote.
