Sreenanda to play Durga again

Sreenanda Shankar is going great guns. The actress, who is a part of films like Suman Ghosh’s Basu Paribar and Srijit Mukjerji’s Ek Je Chhilo Raja, will be playing Ma Durga in Durga Durgotinashini which will be telecast on Mahalaya on a private Bengali channel. The audience has seen Sreenada essaying Ma Durga in Durga Durgotinashini before too and she received heaps of praises for it.In Srijit’s film she plays Kadambari where she has few dance sequences. In Basu Paribar, the actress plays Jisshu’s U Sengupta’s wife. And in Aparna Sen’s Ek Juger Ghare Baire, Sreenanda plays a pivotal character.
