Basu Poribar

’ even before Srijit Mukherji’s magnum opus ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ last year and now she can’t hold on to her excitement to see the film finally releasing on April 5.

“This is my first film and it’s like a gift for me. I am really thankful to Suman and this feeling will always be same. Frankly speaking nobody will be able to replace that for me in my life,” said the talented actress while speaking about the film.
She also recalled how she almost went speechless during the first script reading session. “I was so nervous ahead of the shooting. I was literally baffled to watch the performances of the big names of Bengali cinema. But I have to say everyone was so welcoming that eventually I could see everyone was enjoying and laughing whatever I said,” added Sreenanda Shankar.
In ‘Basu Poribar’, Sreenanda plays Jisshu Sengupta’s on-screen wife as Jisshu plays the son of Soumitra Chatterjee and Aparna Sen.
