Spending my birthday in home isolation was tough: Rudranil

Rudranil Ghosh, who tested positive for Covid-19 sometime back, has tested negative now. “I tested COVID positive on January 5. My birthday was on January 6 and I had to celebrate the special day in isolation. Friends called to wish; we chatted on video calls but spending a birthday all alone was tough. I cut the cake alone and had it all by myself! I don’t celebrate my birthday in a big way but this year, I had thought of celebrating in a gala way.But then again, man proposes, God disposes! I never thought my birthday would be so boring. I was running a temperature at that point of time. My friends have promised we will have a grand dinner in honour of my birthday once the situation improves. I generally don’t make resolutions on my birthday. All I wish is to keep doing good work,” said the actor.
The actor is yet to complete the dubbing for Amit Sharma’s Maidaan that stars Ajay Devgn in the lead. “We started the film two-and-a-half years back. Thank God we could complete the shoot, but the dubbing is still. I wish that we complete the film soon — it’s already been too long,” said Rudranil, who will start shooting for his Bengali films from the end of this month. “This third wave disrupted all the plans. Now I have to wait for the producers and directors to start the project again,” said the actor.
