Soumitra to play a teacher soon

Veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee will soon be seen as a teacher in director Suryaa’s next,

. The film also features Shaheb Chatterjee and Rajesh Sharma. While the director, along with Chandrani Das, has penned the story, Padmanabha Dasgupta is working on the script.

The story shows how an unconventional teacher wins over a distracted child. “The film is based on a child’s education,” said Suryaa while elaborating on the story. “A senior teacher, played by Soumitrada, makes an inattentive child, Chorki, study. But his methods of teaching are very unconventional. He plays with the kid and takes her to the garden. Seeing this, Chorki’s father became very sceptical about his methods and replaces him with a conventionally educated young man. The young man keeps on spending time on his mobile phone and the kid becomes inattentive once again and the story goes on,” the director added.
