Reshmi Mitra who has recently wrapped up the shoot of her next theird directorial ‘Limlight’ starring Rituparna Sengupta in the lead is ready with another project. It will be a screen adaptation of Mallika Sengupta's popular novel ‘Slilatahanir Pore’.
While Devlina Kumar will play the victim, a band vocalist, Soumitra Chatterjee will be seen as a teacher. Rahul Banerjee essays the role of a singer in Devlina’s band.

This will be Rahul’s second film with Soumitra Chatterjee after Atanu Ghosh directed ‘Rupkatha Noy’. The cast also includes Sreela Majumder, Moubani Sorcar, Ishan Majumder among others.

Speaking about working with Soumitra Chatterjee, Rahul said, "Who doesn’t want to work with the legend? Of course he is a reason, but, the script is also interesting."
‘Slilatahanir Pore’, as the title suggests, will focus on how women are treated after getting molested in a dreadful event.
