Soham-Srabanti back again in Abhimanyu’s upcoming comedy

’, ‘Bagh Bandi Khela’, ‘Googly’, ‘BhootChakra Pvt. Ltd.’ – the list goes on and each film has a common link. Guess what! All the films star Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee in the lead. Looks the pair is more comfortable in sharing screen space than others in recent times. And now, Soham-Srabanti Jodi is set to team up once again is Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s yet to be titled comedy drama.

Teko

’ which stars Ritwick Chakraborty and Srabanti in the lead. But the talented director will start shooting with Soham-Srabanti as soon as he wraps up ‘Teko’. Abhimanyu first directed the hit pair in ‘Piya Re’ produced by Surinder Films. However, this time the comedy flick will be bankrolled by Eskay Movies.

Srabanti and Soham go back a long way. In Swapan Saha’s 1997 hit ‘Mayar Badhon’ which had Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta in the lead, the pair first shared screen space as child artistes. It’s no surprise that whenever Soham and Srabanti have paired up they delivered box office hits – from ‘Amanush’, ‘Faande Poriya Boga Kaande Re’ to ‘Prem Amar’, ‘Piya Re’.
