Directed by Anindya Chatterjee, ‘Manojder Adbhut Bari’ is slated to release on October 12 during the festive season. After winning hearts with his first two directorial ‘Open Tee Bioscope’ and ‘Projapoti Biskut’, this will be Anindya’s third film as a filmmaker and it’s based on popular writer Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay’s famous story by the same name.
Bankrolled by Shiboprosad-Nandita’s Windows Production, the film will see Soham Moitra, who appeared in ‘Chaplin’, essaying the role of Manoj and singer Srikanto Acharya’s son Purab Seal Acharya playing Saroj. Besides, there will also be Soumitra Chatterjee and
Sandhya Roy as the royal couple.
Silajit Majumder will play the role of a dacoit leader. He will be also helping director Anindya in composing the music.
The biggest surprise of the children adventure drama is
Abir Chatterjee lending his voice for a funny song titled ‘Dakat Hobo Aste Aste’ along with
Rajatava Dutta. Abir will also play a key role of Haringawr’s long-lost prince Kandarpanarayan who eventually joins a dacoit gang.
