Soham expresses shock at Tapas Paul's demise

Soham's second film, Nayanmoni, was with Tapas Paul. Following the veteran actor-turned-politician's demise on Tuesday morning, Soham took to social media to pay tributes. "Shocked and deeply saddened at the sudden demise of Tapas Pal(uncle).my condolences to aunty and Sohini.May ur Soul Rest In Peace (sic)," he wrote.
Speaking to us, Soham said, “I don’t even remember how many times I have watched Dadar Kirti and Bhalobasa Bhalobasa.His films like Guru Dakshina, Shaheb, Uttara shows what a brilliant actor he was. I worked with him in Mangal Deep, Hingsha, Danoob to name a few. He was extremely affectionate towards me and he used to always tell me how to enhance a scene. I have learnt a lot from him. That apart Tapasda was a great foodie. I met him last at the airport where he was talking about his ups and downs in life, but the smile was there and I will always remember that. He told me, 'Sei Bittu ajkotoborohoeageche and I will remember that hug!'
