However, the owner of the house has alleged that Silajit started some repair work on the roof without even informing him and he just went there to inspect the work. But Silajit, for some reasons, didn’t want him to enter the premises. Chakraborty has also filed a written complaint at Panchasayer police station in south Kolkata to counter the singer’s allegations.

“I have been receiving threats from Amar Chakraborty for the last few days. There are many dogs in my house and without any reason, Chakraborty and his friend beat some of them when they failed to enter the house. They even threatened to kill me. This is so disgusting. I had kept my cool till now. But enough is enough. This needs to be stopped,” Silajit said.

The actor has been involved in a legal battle with the owner over the past few years. In his written complaint, the singer claimed that Amar Chakraborty came to the house on 4 July with one of his friends, who was introduced as an Army officer. The singer’s legal counsel

Anirban Guha Thakurta

informed that the house owner Amar Chakraborty had already lost a criminal case against his client.
