Shayan Munshi will soon make a his comeback in Bengali films, says actress Rupsha Guha

Debutant filmmaker Prasenjit Biswas is shooting an anthology titled Hashtag: Fair and ugly. One of the stories of this film is titled Antarip written by Mainak Karmakar. “It is primarily about a couple in a strange predicament as they go for a trip by the sea. Sometimes partners don't articulate some chapters in their lives to each other, things that they are probably aware of. The question then becomes, will they still hold each other’s hands despite things unsaid or will the tide of people in their lives loosen their trust in each other and destroy the sanctity of the institution called marriage? Will they continue with the facade of their relationship, or will their intimacy get lost in the relentless barrage of people in the tumultuous sea called life,” says Rupsha Guha who plays a pivotal character in this film.

In Antarip the roles of the wife and the husband have been essayed by Rituparna Sengupta and Kaushik Sen.
“I will be comprising the role of Ritik’s (Kaushik Sen) love interest, and Shayan Munshi plays the love interest of Joyita played by Ritu di (Rituparna). Shayan is making his comeback after almost a decade in Bengali films. It is lovely to work with him,” adds the actress.
