marked his debut as a director with the short film, Bumper. “There have been times when I would just work as a driver for the team. I would drive the actors around and keep the food supply going for them. I remember once I got off the car so that the director and his actors could carry on with their brainstorming session. Rwitobroto even complained that there should have been more soft drinks and I immediately ran to the local shop,” laughed and recalled Shantilal, presenter of the short.

’s Open Tee Bioscope and all of 15, wanted to work with his on-screen partners in crime who are also his real friends. Needless to say, on his big day, all his friends turned up to root for him. The youngsters even watched the short together and discussed it at length with guests at the venue. “All I want is that people watch it,” said Rwitobroto, who is now 18. Though the screening started at least 30 minutes after the scheduled time, everyone kept waiting. And if the audience response is t any pointer, this screening was a bumper hit!
