Shaheb celebrates his birthday with gusto

Shaheb Bhattacherjee had a two-day-long birthday celebration. His birthday was on Sunday.
“On Saturday night, my friends came over to my place to usher in my birthday and the party went on till the wee hours of the night. On Sunday, I was shooting and then I had a house party. I love to celebrate my birthday. In fact, I try to celebrate my parents’ birthdays and my sister’s birthday in a big way.But, I am also happy that for the past six years I have worked on my birthdays,” said the actor.
Any birthday resolutions, we ask the actor. “Not really. I just pray for good health and peace of mind. I always try to be a better human being each day,” said Shaheb. He added, “I missed ma on my birthday this year as she is in Bangalore. Ma has gone there to be with my sister, Sonam. Ma is returning today and my sister is sending me some payesh made by her. I missed Sonam and Sunil (Chhetri), as each year they try to be in Kolkata to celebrate my birthday. But, this year, they had prior commitments.”
The actor just completed shooting for Partha Sarathi Joardar’s film, where he is cast opposite Rupsha Mukherjee. “The film is about how a group of young people fight against the system. My next film is with Parthada and is a comedy where Rajesh Sharma and Paran Bandopadhay play pivotal characters. I will also start shooting for Kamal Roy’s film on coal mafia in Dhandbad. That apart, from January, I will be doing Suman Mitra’s film where Sreelekha Mitra and Barun Chandra play important roles.”
