Shaheb Bhattacharjee and Ridhima Ghosh in Joyjit Banerjee’s short film

Popular actor Joyjit Banerjee is all geared up for his directorial debut. Featuring Shaheb Bhattacharjee and Ridhima Ghosh in the lead, Joyjit is planning to make a short film.
While speaking about his first film as a director, Joyjit said, “I wanted to be a director ever since I stepped into the industry but later realised it’s quite difficult to be a director. During a recent casual meeting with my close friends, the idea of making film came up.” Joyjit also added that the title of the film hasn’t yet been decided.
However, Joyjit didn’t want to reveal much about his upcoming project but said it’s a love story which takes a completely different turn as the narrative progresses.
The popular actor explained, “We get involved in so many incidents in our lives that we often tend to ignore, and there are few of those incidents which leave a long-lasting impression. The story of this film is unconventional and we have plans to send the film to international film festivals.”
