See the blushing Bong bride, Riya!

The beautiful Riya Sen tied the knot on Wednesday evening with boyfriend Shivam Tewari, looking every bit the blushing, Bengali bride as she went through all the traditional rituals — including kanya daan, subho drishti and sindur daan. For elder sister Raima, she was “the prettiest bride I have seen so far”.
The wedding took place in a Pune farmhouse, with only close friends and family in attendance.“Riya always wanted her marriage to be a private affair. Both Riya and Shivam looked awesome as a couple and I am so happy for them. Ma (Moon Moon Sen) did all the shopping. She bought loads of saris and jewellery for her. Riya wore a red benarasi for the wedding and after wearing sindoor on her forehead, she looked divine,” said Raima. What was her gift to Riya? “I was busy shooting, so I didn’t have any time to buy her gifts. I plan to buy her a jewellery set soon,” she said.
Raima added that the food was to die for and there were many cuisines on the menu. “There will be a party in Kolkata when both of them have time. Riya has known Shivam for over a year and they make a brilliant couple.”
