Sayantani Guhathakurta travels to North Bengal for a short trip

With lockdown restrictions eased a bit, people have started to travel to inter-state destinations. Actress Sayantani Guhathakurta has also headed to a tea estate in North Bengal on Monday morning for a work-cum-pleasure trip. Talking to us from North Bengal, the actress said, "It was a much-needed break and I am feeling really excited to travel out of Kolkata for a few days.I am taking all the necessary precautions and even the tea estate where I am staying is maintaining all the hygiene protocols. The weather is so very pleasant here and I can't wait to explore my surroundings."

The actress has gone there for the shooting of a project, but a few of her friends are also accompanying her. "I have a day's work here for a small project and after that, I will be spending some relaxing time at the beautiful tea estate. Coming to the hills also means gorging on piping moms, thukpas and trying out the local cuisine. So, for the next few days, diet will take a backseat and I want to let my hair down with my friends. We all are vaccinated and I would also request everyone who are planning for mini trips within the state to get fully vaccinated before venturing out."
