Sayantani and Anindya in a psychological thriller

Director Angsuman Banerji’s next ‘Large Peg’ revolves around an author’s fight between his ego and alter-ego. The psychological thriller whose trailer was recently released stars Sayantani Guhathakurata, Anindya Pulak Banerjee, Sritama Dey, Payel Roy, Sara M. Nath, and others in pivotal roles.

Sharing his thoughts on the thriller Anindya explained that the name ‘Large Peg’ has been used as a metaphor in the narrative. “I am playing a writer who sees himself as a larger-than-life character. However, the question remains is he a genius or a lunatic? The story is a surreal one. Is the writer creating the destiny of the characters or the character are building their destiny on their own? That’s what forms the crux of the story.”
Meanwhile, Sayantani who plays the role of the author's wife says, “The author because of his professional commitments hardly gives time to his wife. I must say playing an author’s wife is not an easy task.”
While the story has been written by Saikat Ghosh, Pratyusha Sarkar has penned the screenplay of ‘Large Peg’. Shameek Kundu is handling the music direction part, and cinematography has been done by Shantanu Banerjee.
