Sayan’s short film ‘Pree Ar Math Kaku’ serves as a poignant mirror to society

Sayan Royan’s recently released Bengali short film ‘Pree Ar Math Kaku’ holds a mirror to our society. Sayan, who, apart from acting and modeling, has a penchant for writing, which inspired him to create this short film. Previously, he has written full-length Bengali films ‘Barfi’ and ’60 Er Pore’. The cast includes Sayan Royan, Neha Mistri, Hironmoy Biswas, and Tarak Chowdhury, with cinematography by Bittu De.
‘Pree Ar Math Kaku’ focuses on little Pri and a social message concerning her math exam. Sayan says, "This isn’t purely a figment of my imagination. The story is based on everyday incidents that we might often overlook. I hope everyone enjoys it and that the film helps us think in new ways. Who is this 'Kaku'?
