Satrajit to soon start shooting his next

The shoot of Satrajit Sen’s next film is most likely to start from November or December. Though the director remained tight-lipped about the project, sources said that the film is a fantasy-comedy. Besides Swastika Mukherjee, Sayani Dutta and Mahabrata, there will be another male character, which is yet to be decided. The scripting has been done by Samik Roy Choudhury.
According to the script, one half of the film will be shot in Kolkata, while the other will be filmed either in

France

or England. “There are chances that parts of the shoot might also take place in

Singapore

,” the source added.
Though details about the storyline were not available, we learnt that the film revolves around a person who spends half of his life in Kolkata and the rest in another part of the world. “Because of this particular reason, the storyline is heavily dependent on the male character and we will finalise everything by the end of this month,” said the source. The film belongs to the same genre as cult Bengali movie Jomaloye Jobonto Manush, but the story is entirely different.
This is Satrajit’s second film after his debut project, Michael, a comedy starring Soumitra Chatterjee and Tnusree Chakraborty, among others. In the film, Tnusree plays the character of a film actress, Maher Khanna.
