Satabdi to direct film

A romantic film, Shakhhi will not just see a comeback of Priyanka Trivedi, but will also mark the Tollywood debut of music composer duo Sanjeev-Darshan of Mann, Hamara Dil Apke Pas Hai, Deewane and Khiladi fame.Says Satabdi, ���������I���������vepenned the story and the script is by Manjil Banerjee. The film is about awidower and his son. His family dynamics change when a woman comes into hislife. What happens next is the crux of my film. I���������ve cast Priyanka in thefilm and would like to approach Priyanshu Chatterjee too. But at present,Priyanshu is in London. My son could have been cast in the film, but he is verymoody. I���������m afraid, he might leave me in the lurch midway through the film.As a director, I���������m not going to risk that,��������� shechuckles.Wouldn���������t she want to cast herself in the film too?���������When I act in my directorial projects, I think actor Satabdi getsneglected. I don���������t do justice to the actor in me since I am always in arush.���������Shooting for the film will begin from May 16. ���������Themunicipal elections is on May 30.
