Saswata plays a cop in a murder mystery

Saswata Chatterjee will play a key role in Soumyaa Supriyaa’s new film ‘Rahasyamoy’, which is a thriller. The film also stars Anindya Chatterjee, Saayoni Ghosh, Amrita Chattopadhyay and others.
“The film is a thriller, so I can’t divulge the story. All I can share is that Apuda (Saswata) plays a police inspector in this film. I am paired opposite Saayoni. It shows that we live in a high-rise building and we both are IT professionals.I can’t reveal more than that. I feel both Saayoni and Amrita are brilliant actors and working with an actor like Apuda is always a learning experience,” revealed Anindya who is playing one of the leads in the film.
The story of the film revolves around two couples Aditya-Esha and Abhimanyu-Tithi. They work as IT professionals and live in the same apartment on two opposite flats. Suddenly DCP Anish Roy, the investigating officer receives a phone call early in the morning informing him about Abhimanyu’s death in his bedroom. Tithi is found lying unconscious on the floor. Interestingly, the room was locked from inside. Even the windows were locked from inside. Is Tithi the murderer or is there any other mystery to be unfolded?
While the script is by Padmanabha Dasgupta, Nabarun Bose is composing the music. Interestingly, Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury for the first time has lent her voice for a rap song in this film.
