Saswata Chatterjee in a Netaji film?

Saswata Chatterjee is keeping busy these days. After the success of his Puja release ‘Hoichoi Unlimited’ the versatile actor is set to play a pivotal role in ‘Sannyasi Deshonayak: Quest for Truth and Justice’. The film marks Documentary filmmaker Amlan Kusum Ghosh’s feature film debut.
The plot of the movie revolves around the mystery behind Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s death.It deals with the rumours and possibilities of a Faridabad sadhubaba’s mysterious link to Netaji. Veteran actor Victor Banerjee plays the sadhu in this film. Recently Saswata was out of town to shoot some extreme high altitude sequences in the freezing cold of Ladakh and he is super excited to be a part of such an interesting project sharing screen space with Victor Banerjee.
Saswata has another thriller in the pipeline titled ‘Network’. The movie also stars Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Anindya Chatterjee and Saayani Ghosh in key roles. The story revolves around a reality show designed by the protagonist to avenge those who once betrayed him. His opponents stole his ideas and left him in misery once. Now he welcomes them in a reality TV show.
