’ sees
Saswata Chatterjee as a man seeking his ultimate revenge. He has often been regarded as the one man army in Bengali industry. Be it the protagonist, antagonist, or even a comic character, he has the reputation to pull off any critical character with accuracy and control. It will be interesting to see how the versatile actor pulls of this character full of vengeance.
“I don’t think any film has been made on this kind of story in Bengali cinema before. We have been watching films on revenge for years and this is also a story on revenge. However, I have serious doubt whether anybody has taken this kind of revenge ever. It’s a story about a director who wants his lost place in the industry back again. But he suffers an accident and he launches a reality show to take revenge against those who were responsible for the accident. I can assure you it will be an intense thriller,” said the seasoned actor during the film’s trailer launch event.
The movie also stars Sabyasachi Chakraborty,
Anindya Chatterjee and Saayani Ghosh in key roles. Interestingly, after ‘Jawker Dhan’, Sabyasachi Chakraborty will once again play a negative role of a producer.
Produced by Neo Studios, ‘Network’s script has been written by Rini Ghosh and the director Saptaswa Basu himself. The two songs in the film have been composed by Dabbu, Raz Dee.
