Incidentally, Sanghamitra is the brains behind the story and script too. Talking about the storyline, the director says that Ruu is the protagonist here. She is sad for some reason. The director is all praises for Shaheb. He has evolved as a fine actor. And I must mention that he is going all out to get into the skin of Chiring Thapa. He is even doing workshop under a Sikkimese guy to get the nuances of the language and how a Sikkimese speaks other dialects, confides the director.
As for the cast, the director has roped in Paoli to essay Ruu, who works in a multinational company and is practically an agony aunt for her colleagues. Shaheb Bhattacharjee plays Chiring, a character who has a positive attitude to life. Chiring offers to take Ruu to West Sikkim in order to help her regain the zest for life. The rest of the cast comprise Biswajit Chakraborty, Soma Chakraborty, Shanakar Chakraborty, Debjani Chatterjee, Trishna Mukherjee and Souradeep Ghosh.
