Actress Sandipta Sen and media professional Soumya Mukherjee will be tying the knot on December 7. The couple has been dating for the past three-four years. The engagement and sangeet ceremony will be held on December 2.
“Both of us are nervous and excited at the same time. From selecting the curtains of our home to my wedding trousseau, we are doing it all. I’m packing all the gifts for our relatives with hand written notes. I love to have a personal touch in everything on the biggest day of my life,” said Sandipta. She added, “I’ll be wearing a lehenga for my engagement and Soumya will be in an indo-western outfit. Our relatives including my parents will be dancing to Bengali and Hindi songs. We’re rehearsing for it.”
Sandipta will be wearing a fuchsia pink Benarasi for her big day. “I want to be like a traditional bride. My outfits and jewellery have an old charm. The menu at our wedding is purely Bengali,” said the actress.
