I always wanted to work with Mainak as I find his films very contemporary. In Ekannoborti I play myself. My character’s name is Sandipta Sen, a television actress now working in a web series,” Sandipta said.

She adds Durga Puja plays a key part in the narrative. “Durga Puja plays a major part in this film, which will portray familial bonds in a light-hearted manner. It’s the story of a family that disintegrated into isolated units over time. During the household Durga Puja, the members reunite after a long time and the story unfolds,” shares the actress.

In my interactions with people, I try to do that as much as possible,” she added.
