Samik to start his new project

After shooting a music video for Bengali band Prithibi, we heard that filmmaker-song writer Samik Roy Chowdhury is busy with a US project. Even though he didn’t reveal much about it, he said that there will be a series of short films shot in the US itself. The Bengali community in the USA are funding the project.
Meanwhile, the music video is already a hit.A part of the shoot took place at the Ballygunge Government High School. Talking about the song, Samik said that Prithibi frontman Kaushik Chakraborty has written and composed the song Mukti. Interestingly, both Kaushik and Samik are the former students of Ballygunge Government High School and that’s why they have chosen the school for their shooting location.
