The film was shot at Tagda in Darjeeling district. According to Samik, the shoot was smooth but hectic. “The entire team was living in three bungalows and there was not much connection with the outside world. And in future, I won’t act and direct the same project. Even though this time I’ve pulled it off, it was hectic. I believe acting and directing are two distinct crafts and should be enjoyed separately,” he said, adding that the story revolves around the murder of

Palash Sengupta

, a tourist in a hill station.

started his career in his 50s and has impressed Samik with his performance. Meanwhile,

, who worked with Samik in his previous film Beline, continued to be great on-screen pair.

“Soon after, one of his close friends – an IPS officer – comes into the picture to investigate and soon, the murder mystery turns into a psychological thriller,” said Samik, who plays Palash in the film.
