Actor Saheb Chatterjee recently consulted a numerologist and now spells him name as Shaheb Chattopadhyay. “When I was doing Gotro, I met this numerologist in

through a friend. He suggested that I change my name to Eklavya Chatterjee to ensure that my career graph reaches new heights. T The man is from the south. I told him that I have been working in this industry for 17 years and this change in name won’t be possible now since it will lead to an identity crisis. That's when he suggested this change. In fact, I remember I told Shibuda (Shiboprosad Mukherjee) while doing Gotro that my name in the title card should be spelt with an ‘h’. And now, I only use Chattopadhyay and not Chatterjee as my surname,” said the actor.
Shaheb recently did the playback for Love Aaj Kaal Porshu, which is a modern-day love story that shows the changing dynamics of man-woman relationships. The actor will soon start dubbing for Hridpindo, where he is cast opposite Arpita.
The actor is also making a special appearance in Aritra Mukherjee’s

Brahma

Janen Gopon Kommoti and is happy to be part of the project. “My shoot was on Monday and I had so much of fun on the sets! I had worked with Aritra earlier, as he assists Shibuda and Nanditadi (Nandita Roy) and I know his passion for this medium. So, when he approached me for this special appearance, I couldn’t say no to him,” said the actor, adding, “I loved the concept of the film, which talks about breaking taboos. It shows the protagonist holding all things related to idol worship in one hand and in the other hand, she is holding a sanitary pad, a painkiller, a hot water bag and other things that a girl needs during her periods. It’s a fun movie and not at all preachy. The film questions many age-old myths we are following in this patriarchal society and opens the discussion centering on those beliefs.”
