Sandip Ray’s films. He is returning to his detective avatar in talented director Abhishek Bagchi’s upcoming thriller ‘
Boba Rahashya
’.
Abhishek plans to make series of films revolving around the character Inspector Gorai’ and ‘Boba Rahashya’ will be the first one of the series. Since playing Feluda with elan, Sabyasachi has been offered to play detective characters by a number of filmmakers over the years but he has refused everyone. However, Abishek’s script had something new which made Sabyasachi say yes.
‘Boba Rahashya’ is not just a detective film; the story has some horror elements as well which will focus on a few psychological aspects of human mind. The film has been extensively shot in and around Jharkhand. Besides Sabyasachi Chakraborty,
Rahul Banerjee will play an interesting character. Bangladeshi actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha from ‘Doob’ fame will play the female lead. While
Sudiptaa Chakraborty plays a psychiatrist here,
Darshana Banik will also be seen in a key role.
