Saayoni Ghosh is all set to play a pivotal role in a short film which is an Indo-Bangla joint production. The 60-minute film titled ‘Cinemar Pordaye Sob Choritro Kalponik’ will be directed by Krish Somak Bera. Saayoni will be seen opposite actor, Mamnun Hassan Emon, who has worked with renowned Bangladeshi directors.
According to the director, the film explores the concept of love from a different angle and raises a question about whether getting married should be the ultimate goal of couples. The story tries to establish some that relationships are complete and don’t need a social stamp.
The first phase of the shoot has was wrapped up in April. The final leg is being shot in
Howrah
. Saayoni Ghosh was last seen in Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s psychological thriller ‘Good Night City’ which also starred
Ritwick Chakraborty,
Rituparna Sengupta and
Saswata Chatterjee in the lead. Up next for the actress is Murari M Rakshit’s ‘Reunion’.
