Saayoni busy with her furry buddies

Saayoni Ghosh is busy with her pet dogs, Rancho and Bruno. “Rancho is the father of my one-month-old grandson, Bruno. Bruno tries to play with Rancho, but he is a little lazy. He prefers to sleep and watch Rancho from a distance. There is a peaceful co-existence between the two,” said Saayoni, who is back from a family trip from Pondicherry. “I went to Pondicherry with my parents and had a relaxing time. My friend from Bangalore joined us too. So, it was a fun trip. .The city is so beautiful that I told ma that I want to settle there in my old age,” said Saayoni.

Saayoni is happy with the response to the poster of Abhirup Ghosh’s film, Brahmadaitya. “The film is about the forgotten ghosts of Bengal. We celebrate Halloween, but we forgot about our very own Mamdo, Brahmadotti, Shakchunni and others. So, this is a story that will remind us of them. The film will show what happens when I ‘order’ a ghost online. I love to watch horror movies and this film will make you feel scared,” the actress said with a smile. She added, “Rudrada (Rudranil Ghosh) is cast opposite me in this film and it was a pleasure working with him.”

Saayoni is also happy that her film, Sohobashe, directed by Anjan Kanjilal, with Ishaa Saha and Rahul as lead characters, will be travelling to many festivals from December. “In December, the film will be screened at a festival in Hyderabad. I plan to be present there,” said the actor.
